Category removed from SURMOUNT trial programme in error

The run removed a category from SURMOUNT trial programme on the ground that it was redlinked, but the category page exists — it was created four hours earlier and the bot appears to have been working from a cached list. — StyleSheetSybil (talk) 19:41, 16 July 2025 (UTC)

Good catch. That is the second time a category created mid-run has been treated as absent, so I have changed the check rather than just reverting. — Hedgerow_Hal (talk) 18:15, 17 July 2025 (UTC)

Could the run cover Beyond-use date?

Beyond-use date has the same bare-identifier problem the bot fixes elsewhere but does not appear to be in scope. Is that deliberate, or is the page simply outside whatever list the run works from? — UnitAuditUwe (talk) 13:54, 7 May 2026 (UTC)

Deliberate, and probably wrongly so: the page was excluded when the task was approved because it was under active rewriting. I have removed the exclusion. — Hedgerow_Hal (talk) 05:49, 8 May 2026 (UTC)

Edit rate during the maintenance window

The run made several hundred edits inside the hour the site notice asked automated tasks to stand down. Not a complaint about the edits themselves, which were fine — but the stand-down request exists so that the recent-changes feed stays readable. — Chromatokid (talk) 10:31, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
