Active or total in Proglucagon
Proglucagon gives concentrations without saying whether they are of the intact hormone or of total immunoreactivity. The two differ by a large factor and the assays are not interchangeable. Does the source specify? — AmylinAmos (talk) 22:13, 18 August 2025 (UTC)
Intact, per the assay named in the methods. Now stated, along with the assay. — ArcuateArt (talk) 05:37, 19 August 2025 (UTC)
Magnitude of the incretin effect in Enteroendocrine L cell
The percentage given in Enteroendocrine L cell for the incretin effect varies considerably across the literature depending on the glucose load used. Attributing it to a specific study, with the load stated, would make it checkable in a way the bare figure is not. — IncretinIvo (talk) 23:08, 11 November 2025 (UTC)
Fair. I have given the figure from the specific study and noted the range reported elsewhere. — ArcuateArt (talk) 19:22, 12 November 2025 (UTC)
Magnitude of the incretin effect in Albumin binding half-life extension
The percentage given in Albumin binding half-life extension for the incretin effect varies considerably across the literature depending on the glucose load used. Attributing it to a specific study, with the load stated, would make it checkable in a way the bare figure is not. — BetaCellBoyd (talk) 20:42, 23 November 2025 (UTC)
Agreed. A bare percentage for something this method-dependent was misleading. — ArcuateArt (talk) 23:48, 23 November 2025 (UTC)
