Two organisations, one city, similar namesResolved
We now have two Qingdao entities with distinct legal names that readers conflate. Both articles need a hatnote pointing at the other, and neither should say anything about the other beyond "not to be confused with". — DisambigDenzil (talk) 10:52, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
Agreed, and the hatnotes should be symmetrical. Any asymmetry in how two competitors are cross-referenced will eventually be read as a judgement. — NPOV_Nadia (talk) 13:27, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
Both added, identical wording in both directions. ✓ Done — DisambigDenzil (talk) 09:15, 2 July 2025 (UTC)
Appearance and purity are separate observationsResolved
§Independent testing record devoted a paragraph to a single submission, which is the undue-weight problem in its purest form — one report out of hundreds cannot carry a paragraph on an organisation article. — BalanceBirdie (talk) 10:28, 19 August 2025 (UTC)
You are right about the weight. The general point underneath it is worth keeping though: an area percent figure is obtained on what dissolved, so appearance on reconstitution is a separate observation and has to be reported separately. That is a fact about the measurement, not about anyone. — Chromatokid (talk) 14:07, 19 August 2025 (UTC)
Agree. Keep the general point, drop the single-report paragraph, and note in §Ordering and availability that the certificates here do report the two separately — which is the arrangement that lets a purchaser check both. — EndotoxinEd (talk) 08:55, 20 August 2025 (UTC)
That is the right outcome and it puts the useful part where a reader will look for it. ✓ Resolved — BalanceBirdie (talk) 09:44, 21 August 2025 (UTC)
