"Verified by" is not a test resultResolved
Earlier revisions of this article said the organisation was "verified by" three named services. That phrasing implies an assessment with a standard behind it, which is not what any of those services does — they publish test results on submitted samples.
Proposal: replace every "verified by" construction on the supplier articles with a statement of what actually exists, namely reports on samples. — VerifyVesna (talk) 11:31, 14 October 2024 (UTC)
Strong support, and it should be a house rule rather than a per-article fix. "Verified" is doing promotional work that the underlying facts do not support, and it appears in the marketing material of most of these organisations. — NPOV_Nadia (talk) 14:08, 14 October 2024 (UTC)
Support. The precise formulation matters: a report on a sample submitted by a purchaser and a report on a sample supplied by the seller are different evidence, and neither is "verification". Area percent on non-peptide linesResolved
Several reports in this set concern non-peptide material, for which ultraviolet area percent is a weaker measure than for a peptide: an impurity that does not absorb at the detection wavelength is invisible to the assay. Agreed, and the same caveat applies to any article whose report set includes non-peptide lines. Worth a sentence in Area percent purity as well, since that is where a reader goes to understand the measure. — ChromCleanupCass (talk) 13:07, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
