Welcome

Welcome to PeptidePedia Wiki. Two things worth reading early: Project:Verifiability, which is stricter here than on most wikis because of the subject matter, and Project:Manual of style, which settles the unit and spelling conventions so that articles can be read comparatively.

If a claim is worth making it is worth citing, and if a number is worth giving it is worth giving with its units and its source. Ask anything on the talk page of the article in question — that is where the reference-desk traffic goes. LiraLotte (talk) 14:35, 11 September 2024 (UTC)

Categorisation of High-performance liquid chromatography

High-performance liquid chromatography was in Category:Chromatography but not in its parent chain, so it was invisible from the topic portal. I have fixed it. If you are adding categories in bulk, Special:WantedPages lists the ones that are currently claimed by articles but have no page. ChromCleanupCass (talk) 09:05, 10 July 2025 (UTC)

Thank you for catching it. Bulk category additions are exactly where I get careless. GradientGus (talk) 14:56, 10 July 2025 (UTC)

Gradient conditions in WuXi TIDES

The purity figure quoted in WuXi TIDES is given without the gradient or the column chemistry it was obtained on. Two laboratories running different gradients can resolve a close-eluting impurity differently and both be right, so the conditions are part of the result rather than a footnote to it. Do you have them from the source? COA_Colwyn (talk) 02:03, 11 July 2025 (UTC)

The gradient is in the source and I left it out; added, with the column chemistry and the detection wavelength. GradientGus (talk) 20:21, 11 July 2025 (UTC)

Requested move at Trial data comparison

A move has been proposed at Talk:Trial data comparison. Since you wrote most of the article's current text you may have a view on whether the proposed title is the one a reader would search for. EscalationEira (talk) 00:19, 1 September 2025 (UTC)

I have supported. The current title was mine and I now think it was the wrong call. GradientGus (talk) 03:28, 2 September 2025 (UTC)

The method section of WuXi TIDES

The method section of WuXi TIDES is now the clearest description of that determination on the wiki, and the point about ultraviolet response not being uniform across impurities is one that most sources leave implicit. Thank you for making it explicit. AnalyticalAnnie (talk) 05:43, 30 April 2026 (UTC)

Thank you. It took three sources to say something that ought to be one sentence. GradientGus (talk) 09:57, 1 May 2026 (UTC)
