Assay behind the interval in Haemoglobin A1c

The reference interval in Haemoglobin A1c is given bare. Since it is method-dependent, stating it without the assay makes it look more universal than it is. Pre-analytical requirements in Body composition assessment

The interval in Body composition assessment depends on tube type and time to separation, neither of which the article mentions.
