Assay behind the interval in Haemoglobin A1c

The reference interval in Haemoglobin A1c is given bare. Since it is method-dependent, stating it without the assay makes it look more universal than it is. Do you have the method from the source, or should it be attributed to the laboratory that published it? Peptide_Pete (talk) 10:06, 12 February 2026 (UTC)

Added. I have also noted that a value outside the interval on one platform may be inside it on another. PlainNumbersPip (talk) 21:03, 12 February 2026 (UTC)

Pre-analytical requirements in Body composition assessment

The interval in Body composition assessment depends on tube type and time to separation, neither of which the article mentions. It is the sort of omission that makes a reader think a result is wrong when the sample was simply handled differently. CPeptidePaddy (talk) 06:29, 27 February 2026 (UTC)

Agreed. I have put them next to the interval rather than in a separate section where nobody would connect them. PlainNumbersPip (talk) 23:32, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
