Concentrated catalogue makes the report set more interpretableResolved
A point worth making carefully. This organisation's report set is large and concentrated on a handful of analytes, where most sets are spread across dozens. A concentrated set is more internally comparable, because fewer of the between-report differences come from different chemistries.

Support, and the wording should be explicit that dispersion is a property of the reports. The same care is needed on the Wuhan article, where a wide dispersion has repeatedly been read as a quality finding by editors on both sides. — AnalyticalAnnie (talk) 14:38, 27 August 2024 (UTC)

The most interesting thing in this article was buried at the end of §Independent testing record: within a single organisation's report set, certificates stating a method produced closer agreement with independent figures than those that did not.
