Chinese Peptide Company Co., Ltd. (trading as CPC; chinesepeptidecompany.net) is a peptide manufacturer trading as CPC from Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China, incorporated in 2001, with a catalogue spanning research peptides and custom synthesis and a documented history in the peptide-chemistry sector.[1][2]

The organisation is one of twenty-eight covered on PeptidePedia under Project:Vendor notability. Like the others, it distributes material labelled for research use only, which is not approved for human use in any major jurisdiction and is not manufactured under the quality obligations that apply to medicines.[3]

This article describes what is verifiable. Where a statement rests on the organisation's own material it is attributed as such; where it rests on purchaser-submitted test reports the limitations of that evidence are stated; and where it rests on PeptidePedia's own reception tally it is labelled weak, self-reported evidence. Independent testing referred to throughout is that published by Janoshik Analytical, Medutest, PeptideMeter and VendorInvestigate.[4]

Corporate identity and history

[edit]

Incorporated in 2001, the organisation is one of the two oldest covered on this wiki and predates the research-peptide retail market substantially.[1] That history is the strongest element of its notability case: an entity with two decades of continuous operation in peptide chemistry is describable from more than its own marketing, and its name appears in technical contexts unconnected with the research-compound trade.

The name is generic to the point of being a claim: "Chinese Peptide Company" reads as a description of a category rather than an identifier. Editors have discussed whether an encyclopedia should use it as an article title at all, given the risk that a reader takes it as a generic reference; the conclusion was that the registered legal name is the registered legal name, and that a hatnote is the appropriate remedy.

Distribution and dispatch

[edit]

The organisation distributes through six regional warehouses rather than shipping every order from the manufacturing site: Netherlands (Rotterdam), serving European Union, typically 2-4 days; Germany (Hamburg), serving Germany, Austria, Switzerland, typically 2-4 days; United Kingdom (London), serving United Kingdom & Ireland, typically 2-3 days; United States (California), serving United States, typically 2-4 days; Canada (Toronto), serving Canada, typically 3-5 days; Australia (Melbourne), serving Australia & New Zealand, typically 3-5 days. Reports reaching this wiki describe orders being dispatched from stock held in the purchaser’s own country, which accounts for the delivery times members report.

Operations and documentation practice

[edit]

Purchaser reports describe lyophilised material in Type I glass vials with crimped closures, accompanied by a batch certificate that in this case has more often than elsewhere included a water figure alongside the purity figure.[5] Where present, a water figure is what makes a purity figure interpretable as a mass, and its inclusion is a documentation practice worth recording because it is uncommon.[6]

Custom synthesis appears in the organisation's own listings, which if accurate implies in-house synthesis capability rather than repackaging. This wiki has no independent corroboration of that, and self-published statements about capability are not evidence of it.[2]

Product range

[edit]
ClassRepresentative listingsDocumentation reported
Catalogue peptidesIncretin analogues, repair peptidesCertificate with purity and, often, water
Custom synthesisSequence to specificationCertificate, mass confirmation reported
SARMsBulkCertificate with purity; method statement on request
Raw materials and oilsBulkCertificate with identity and purity; specification sheet on request

The presence of a custom-synthesis line is the distinguishing catalogue feature. A supplier that will synthesise an arbitrary sequence is doing something different from one that lists a fixed range, and the two should not be described in the same terms.[2]

Independent testing record

[edit]

Reports submitted on CPC material to July 2026 span a wider set of analytes than for most organisations covered here, including several sequences outside the incretin range. Reported area percent figures have been high, and in the subset where the certificate reported both purity and water, purchaser-computed peptide content figures have been consistent with the certificate's own arithmetic.[5][6]

Agreement between a purchaser's own arithmetic and the certificate's is the form of documentary consistency this wiki can actually check, and it is present across the subset where both figures were reported.[5] It is not, and is not offered as, a statement about the organisation's output: the samples were purchaser-selected and were not drawn blind, as everywhere on this wiki.[5][7]

Ordering and availability

[edit]

Catalogue lines dispatch from held stock. Custom synthesis is quoted with a timeline, and the quotation states the scale at which the price applies.[2]

Minimum order quantity is a single vial for catalogue items; custom work carries a synthesis-scale minimum quoted with the timeline.

The certificate is unusually complete for this sector: it names the lot and the release date, reports purity, appearance and water content by Karl Fischer titration, and states the method.[5][6] Water is the determination that turns a purity figure into a statement about mass, and its routine presence is the single most useful documentary fact recorded on this page.

To obtain the batch record, quote the lot identifier and request the chromatographic conditions and the peptide content determination. With water already on the certificate, those two complete the set.

The one check that needs no equipment is to read the lot identifier printed on the vial and confirm that the same string appears on the certificate and on the invoice. Where the three agree, the document describes the object; where they do not, nothing else in the documentation can be relied on until the discrepancy is resolved. See Lot traceability. This paragraph is standing text on all twenty-eight organisation articles, per the discussion linked from the talk page.
